“Don’t Look” is the latest title by developer Ken Spears of Visiontrons Studio. The game offers a stark contrast from the majority of horror games on the market. Unlike conventional horror games, Don’t Look is a platforming game with a heavy focus on exploration and puzzle solving.
“Don’t Look” is designed as a Horror game that has been modified into a Platform Game. The game has been designed to rely heavily on it’s Horror elements but also offer up some interesting gameplay mechanics and interactive storytelling. Additionally, the game features unique visuals and a haunting soundtrack by evocative electronic artist Andrew Michael Dickson.
“The idea behind Don’t Look is to just go to a place with nothing else to do and let the horror story unfold. Many of the areas you will visit are well known horror sites. I want players to be drawn into these areas by the environment and atmosphere. Of course, you will also have to deal with various creepy creatures trying to get you.
The gameplay is a mix between the gameplay mechanics of platformers and the horror elements of point and click games. The player can explore, search and solve puzzles. One of the main objectives is to find items that can be used as weapons to fight off enemies. It will all be done through point and click interaction with the game world.

Don’t Look is a horror game where you are being hunted by things that can only move when you see them. You feel a surging urgency to escape this. place. You MUST escape. Unfortunately, sometimes the only way out is through. While you have no weapon and no way you can defend yourself, you are lucky enough to discover the weakness of your hunters. They may have you trapped in a place where something feels.. off, but by not looking at them you might just be able to escape. With no explanation or recollection of where you came from your only objective is to survive and make it out of that hell and hopefully uncover some secrets on the way.
About Your Creativity In this game you have one life only, and only between 0-10 seconds to make a decision. Each of those decisions will have a different effect on the outcome of the game. The game “Don’t Look” is a puzzle game. The puzzles are easy to solve once you think about them but there is not a specific place you have to solve them. You start in a room and you can exit the room, at some points of your journey through the game. You can open doors and destroy objects but there is no time limit in which you have to do those things. You can “read” things, by not looking at them and enter a different room. When you read, your field of view starts to rotate around the field of view until it covers the entire field. When you are on the edge of your field of view the game loses its sense of urgency. You are urged to try and see what is on the edge of the screen. As long as you never go too close to it you are able to see around it without going out of your field of view. Once you do go close to it, it deletes the edge of the screen, increasing the urgency to escape.

Enter a room at your own pace, reading what is in the way of your escape. Your only objective is to get out, no matter what it takes. If you can read something that you think can help you escape then you must continue to look at it. Your only problem is that it is dark and you cannot see what it is in the darkness.
Game “Don’t Look” Ending:

The game “Don’t Look” ends with you being trapped in a room. Your hunter becomes angry because you can’t see it and leaves the room and then suddenly turns around. You see it and you have 5 seconds to escape. You must make it out of the room before it turns around. There is no music so you don’t know that they are back. There is no way to avoid the hunter. The hunter can only be seen if you look at it. There is no way to save your game before the room is full of the hunters. You have no clue that they are there and that is how the game ends.
