Controlling Photo Story
The steps in the following sections help you get the most out of your creative time with Photo Story. Some of them require you to insert the Photo Story DVD into the drive of your computer.
Photoshop Elements costs between 50 and 90 USD depending on your level of access and the extra content included in your license.
In this guide, I will be showing you how to use Photoshop Elements to convert between different file types, as well as how to create new images, while using the filter options.

Import New Files
Photoshop Elements offers the ability to import files to edit and export images to different file types. Both of these functions work by searching a place where the file is stored on your computer, and then making it available to Photoshop Elements.
The basic file types used for editing images include the following:
Photoshop will automatically open a file if it detects it.
It will also open the file if you choose it from the Windows Explorer/Finder/Mac Finder file-selection dialog.
Note: When you use the Windows Explorer to open files, be sure to choose to open the file in the current folder or in the folder where it is saved. This is because Photoshop elements will often use the current folder if the same folder is chosen.
The image you want to convert into another format will be selected automatically by Photoshop Elements. You can then edit the image as needed, resize, crop, and the like.
All images on the computer will be available to Photoshop Elements from the beginning of the installation, and the computer will automatically check for new updates.
Note: You can also install Photoshop Elements on a new computer. This will work just fine as long as you remember to install all available updates as well as the complete version of Adobe Photoshop Elements (not just Photoshop Elements 2020). Once you’ve installed Photoshop Elements, you will want to decide where on your computer you want Photoshop Elements to store images as well as any other file types you use it for. On a typical Windows or macOS computer, you may want to install Photoshop Elements in the default program folder. This folder is usually:
C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Elements
By default, Photoshop Elements will look for and use the following places to find the files it needs to edit and generate new images:

NEW DELHI: India had earlier recorded negative growth in overseas contribution during 2016-17 at $14.5 billion and $15.5 billion over two years, revealing a worsening trend.
However, the outflow in excess of $15 billion in the calendar year 2017, the highest since 1991-92, reflected a reversal of the negative trend, said the latest data from the ministry of finance.
The turnaround was primarily a result of foreign direct investment inflows, which witnessed a net inflow of $3.3 billion in 2017-18 over the previous year (2016-17), registering a turnaround from $1.8 billion recorded over the same period a year ago.
“The positive trend for gross FDI inflows in 2017-18 is in line with the underlying global economic recovery and the structural reforms,” said Chandrajit Banerjee, principal adviser to the ministry of finance in the external affairs ministry.
‘Adoption of reforms’
“The lower net outflow in excess of $14.6 billion in the fiscal year 2016-17 compared to a net outflow of $15.5 billion during the preceding fiscal year is also encouraging. This is the first time that our gross outflow on an annual basis has been negative for the second successive year,” said Banerjee.
He was talking to ET on the sidelines of the Raghuram Rajan-led six-nation Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, where India presented its blueprint for controlling the global financial crisis.
In its report, the ministry of finance’s external affairs department has highlighted several areas of concern.
India needs to take preventive measures to avoid the risk of capital flight and end the global trade war.
“The pace of fiscal consolidation that India has undertaken has been very slow,” said Banerjee.
The ministry said the net export in March-April 2017 was down by 15% from the previous year as a result of a combination of adverse domestic and external factors including the international trade war.
“The (trade) war has hurt the export momentum, which led to a 1.1% contraction of GDP in the first quarter of 2017-18. Manufacturing growth slowed as well. Looking ahead, India’s GDP growth is expected to remain subdued in the next few quarters,” said Banerjee.
